Flight Log - 2017-01-14 - Matthew Bond's Rocketarium Mega Vortico

A helicopter style odd-roc, with four "blades" that extend out from the central 24mm motor tube.  Literally a larger version of the 18mm Vortico.  Constructed from a total of 7 laser cut light plywood parts.  Flight profile is high drag, low altitude, spin stabilized, very entertaining.

Arcing flight profile off the rod, still an entertaining low drag high spin flight.  Still under thrust as the rocket arced over and headed downhill.  Landed on the field, ejection charge fired after the rocket was on the ground, no damage.
