Flight Log - 2013-04-13 - K Sonesen's BAR Crayon Rocket
This is a kit produced by Bay Area Rocketry consisting of a laser cut plywood fin can, a 3.9" diameter crayon bank, kevlar and elastic shockcord, nose cone bulkheads, hardware, and an instruction manual.

This was a flight that timed the wind conditions perfectly. Straight up off the rail and drifted back towards the north end of the cars rather unexpectedly.
Minor fin damage upon landing (the dirt was hard) in that there was section of the fin that delaminated the plywood. Looks like a job for cyanoacrylate adhesive.
