Temperature - 64 degrees. High winds delayed the launch about 30 minutes. Weather station blew over twice while waiting. Adjusted launch rod about 5 degrees into the wind. Flew north over our heads into the sun. Lost for a moment during ascent, but recovered as rocket descended. Parachute opened and deployed, but ripped away from the rocket. Rocket dropped out of the sky, crashing about 150 yards southwest of the launch site. Parachute last seen drifting northeast. Daniel recovered rocket. No damage.
