Who's Who in Rocketry

EMRR is pleased to introduce the Who's Who in Rocketry Register.

Who's Who IconOnce upon a time, Bob Fortune created his Whozat database with the following definition: "Whozat is a register of rocketeers from around the world. It is very informal and serves to put a face with a name and a bit of history or background." This database disappeared in 2002. EMRR exchanged e-mails with Bob many, many moons ago with the agreement and intention of getting Whozat going again.

If its velocity is commonly described in feet per second I am interested! Went from 1/2A thru some of the first F+ impulse motors in the seventies, more interested in CTI & AMW L2 & L3 motors today.

Since re-entering the hobby in the summer of 2008, certified 1&2 and looking for 3 any day now. Highest verified flight was 13.5K on a minimum diameter 54 stuffed with a CTI K445 Red. That's it headed to the pad with me.

Rockets in production include a 54+3X38 (air starts) PML Ptero re-dubbed the Dolphin, a version of the Ultimate Endeavor from fiberglass components, a semi-scale 4" Nike-Ajax, a 4" 2-stage minimum diameter M-over-N with Hawk Mountain fin cans (sims at 90K, where I will lite the fuse is anyone's guess) and a 6" Bucky Jones-looking shortie.

See you at LDRS 28 this summer!
