FSW BG=
Forward Swept Wing
I needed a Boost Glider for NARAM-40 and I wanted to make something exotic.
I had Boost Gliders but they were normal regular airplane designs and since I
knew I would NOT win I figured Why not fly something exotic and fun. SO I made
THIS FSW BG Forward Swept Wing Boost Glider (I make real creative names ehh :-)

It is a Core Pod separation model in that there is ANOTHER body tube with
adapter rings and engine mount that slides INSIDE the body tube you see above !
A problem I had was that even when I added weight to the inside of the inner
core front end it was NOT enough to make for a stable boost I would get power
loops and slam into the ground
What I came up with was COOL and extremely effective. I glued two little
Centrix fins to the POD, not the glider, and angled them down a lot to counter
boosted lift. WALLA I got absolutely straight boosts and when it ejected the
pod it ejected the elevators with it so NO mods were needed to the glider I
flew this on A2-0 engines from Apogee.
Here are some boost and after boost pictures from NARAM-40.
I have also attached this to my MPGB with a lot of success.
As soon as I find the Core Pod I will take a picture of the boostervators as
I call them :-)
