I have to tell you this will be my first totally home made rocket and I created it without "copying" any type of rocket to my knowledge.  I was told after the fact that it looked a bit like the "Honest John", I however had no idea what that looked like till I found some pictures on the web.  I can't decide if it will be a low-alt D12 or a 1000k+ D12cluster (3 motors)..   Other option would be jump up to a NCR F and I'm just not wanting to loose this work of art just yet..... wRASP will tell later in the game when I have weights and balance 85-90% figured..

This is called the United States Postal Service 1st Class Delivery Rocket USPS1CDR  for short.

It will be Painted to look like a delivery tube sent first class , in the standard Postal Blue and Red.

The NC and Boattail will be made from StyroFoam Cones and will be hand turned to shape. They will be Filled and Smooth. (this is my next challenge) FNF here I come...

The Body is a Standard 2x24 postal tube 16th inch thick walls and Overall sturdy.

The Fins will be .125 Inch Basswood or a 3ply homebrew Balsa Plywood. ( I will make the plywood my self.) each fin will have a double tabbed slot in the tube for max strength.

The joy of this so far is I have less then $6.00 in parts and less then $10.00 in supplies for it.  (most of which can be used for many rockets.)

It is looking like it will be 35 inches tall and 2.875 inches at the NC's widest point.
